A vibrant mixed-use community, Pointe Place had a thriving downtown that remained largely undiscovered by people living in surrounding areas. With a diverse array of restaurants, shops and professional services, Pointe Place wanted to raise awareness about this hidden gem and showcase its unique offerings, not only to its own residents but to people living outside the property to help support their commercial businesses.
With a growing number of mixed use communities being developed on the Seacoast, Pointe Place saw a need to strengthen their brand, website and marketing materials by capturing the qualities that had driven their exceptional levels of customer satisfaction. With a long waiting list for residential rentals, they recognized the opportunity to highlight the qualities that were responsible for driving interest in order to maintain demand. In addition, they wanted to support commercial businesses as many outside the community were not aware of their offerings and that they were open to the public.
After conducting focus groups and individual interviews with residents, MAYO developed a brand strategy that captured the unique qualities that made the people in this community so happy with their experience. Then we redeveloped the brand identity, website and marketing materials as well as created a brand video to feature on the homepage. Each piece was designed to make a strong emotional connection that would drive both awareness and interest amongst non-residents as well as create affinity among current residents.
Not only has Pointe Place maintained demand for its residential spaces, but their commercial space occupancy and traffic increased. In addition, engagement with both the website and marketing materials have improved.
