Carrie Mayo, founder and owner of MAYO, a 100% women-owned business since 2000, has developed her passion for environmental advocacy into a thriving business strategy. As a graphic designer by trade, Carrie transformed her company around the principle of using business as a force for good, providing clients with services that improve both profit and planet. Under her leadership, in 2022 MAYO became a Certified B Corp and a member of 1% for the Planet.

Carrie's commitment to sustainability extends beyond her professional life. She has served as an Executive Committee Member of the Mayor of Portsmouth's Blue Ribbon on Sustainable Practices, organized large-scale beach clean-up events, served as Chair of the Waste Reduction & Diversion Committee and co-founded York Ecohomes. Her efforts have earned her numerous accolades, including Northeast Credit Union's Planet Protector Award, the Maine Source Sustainability Award and the NHBSR’s Environmental Sustainability Award.

When not championing environmental causes, Carrie embraces minimalist living. She has traveled the country twice in her 96 sq. ft. camper van and now resides full-time in a n 800 sq. ft. off-the-grid home in York, Maine, embodying her values of conservation and conscientiousness.

With over 30 years experience, Barrie has worked for both large and small agencies. During her career she has supported clients across a variety of industries including Royal Caribbean, FRAM, Prestone, New Hampshire Travel and Tourism, Public Service of New Hampshire and Mead. Applying best practices to create practical solutions, Barrie creates brand strategies that directly support sales and the bottom line.

A graduate of Bentley University, Barrie likes to head back to the Boston area and spend time in the city. Her favorite take - dinner in the North End for dinner and a B’s game.

Since joining MAYO in 2016, Jacqui has utilized her team’s expertise to develop and implement data-driven marketing campaigns that are both strategic and impactful. She is deeply committed to ensuring her clients’ marketing efforts authentically reflect their values and mission.

A native of New Hampshire, Jacqui's love for the seacoast has kept her rooted in the Granite State. Regardless of the season, she enjoys visiting local beaches but won’t pass up an opportunity to hop on a plane to explore somewhere new.

Taylor joined the team in 2015 as an intern and quickly advanced to the role of Account Director, where she focused on enhancing the company's operational processes. In late 2024, she transitioned to the position of Operations and Production Manager. Her commitment to creating systematic approaches is recognized and valued throughout the management of every project.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys helping others, spending quality time with friends and family, staying active, and enjoying the sunshine whenever she can. Additionally, she is embracing her new role as a mother to her adorable baby boy, Callan.

Prior to joining MAYO, Hannah held Marketing Coordinator positions at IGNYTE AI and Kingsley Gate where she assisted with content creation, marketing strategy, and event management. HubSpot Certified, she leads marketing automation and works with accounts to ensure efficiency across all digital marketing campaigns.

Originally from Connecticut, Hannah loves the ocean and can often be found at York Beach enjoying the sun or trying new restaurants.

With over two decades of experience slinging code and crafting killer marketing campaigns, Blake's a true digital marketing maestro. From the intricate world of web programming to the strategic realms of SEO and PPC, he's mastered them all.

Before joining the Mayo team, Blake reigned supreme as the Chief Marketing Officer of a financial firm. Now, he's trading the hustle and bustle of the city for the laid-back beach life of Wilmington, NC, while still conjuring up digital magic remotely.

When he's not conjuring up marketing masterpieces, you can find Blake cheering on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, pumping iron at the gym, or losing himself in a thrilling video game. A true family man, he cherishes spending quality time with his loved ones.

Claudia joined MAYO Designs in 2013, bringing with her five years of design expertise. She crafts stunning designs that bring our clients' visions to life, effortlessly transforming initial concepts into cohesive and visually striking creations. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of target audiences, Claudia’s graphics consistently deliver that 'wow' factor, leaving a lasting impression.

She is deeply passionate about all things art and design, whether it's creating impactful graphics or immersing herself in the tranquility of handmade crafts. A devoted animal lover with plans to live on a farm in the near future, she is also an incredibly caring person, always looking out for the well-being of those she holds dear.

Don has led creative teams at some of the most successful advertising agencies in the world. Throughout his career he has produced memorable campaigns across a wide range of consumer and B2B categories for iconic brands like Nestlé, The Coca-Cola Company, Ford Motor Company, Blockbuster, Mars, Inc., Nestlé Purina, Marriott Renaissance Hotels, Chevrolet, Anheuser-Busch, Beam Suntory, NBC, Fiat Chrysler, Jeep, and others.

Don’s work has been honored by nearly every major advertising industry award, including Cannes, The Emmy Awards, The New York Art Directors Club, CLIOs, London International, ADDYs, The Effie Awards, New York Festivals, Graphis, Graphis Best Advertising of the Decade and The One Show, and has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Communication Arts, The New York Times, Adweek, The Times of London, as well as several “best ads” television specials.

Brian is a multi-disciplined creative with 25 years of experience overseeing and guiding brand development, web, concept and design. Brian produces high-quality, strategy-minded work for those who value the power of great creative.

Dave is a seasoned Creative Director and Brand Designer who joined the MAYO roster mid 2024. With over 17 years of experience after graduating from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2007, Dave has worked in-house for an action sports brand and also as part of an Advertising agency servicing a wide range of clients. He has a broad understanding of how to build upon industry trends and design campaigns that elevate the brands he is involved with.

A true New Englander born and raised, now residing in southern Maine, Dave can be found exploring coastlines paddling his ocean kayak in the summer or strapping into his snowboard to carve the mountains in the winter. He has a deep appreciation for art, photography and film/video/animation and is always seeking inspiration from the creative people and world around him.

With over 15 years of experience in digital marketing, Tim specializes in creating tailored SEO strategies that drive measurable growth for businesses across a variety of industries. His expertise spans keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and crafting content strategies that resonate with target audiences.

Tim’s ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable insights has helped brands enhance their online visibility and achieve long-term success. Whether refining website architecture, optimizing for user experience, or developing content to capture search intent, Tim takes a holistic approach to ensure results align with business goals.

When away from the office, he can be found enjoying the outdoors through skiing, mountain biking, trail building, and exploring new sites and adventures.

For three decades, Shane has used his camera to help clients connect with people. In addition to his photography and videography experience, Shane also has a background in graphic design, art direction and animation, allowing him to work seamlessly with creative teams. He studied at Mass. College of Art and completed his fine arts degree in Experimental Animation and Film at the California Institute of the Arts. Based in the Northeast, Shane's work has taken him around the world with clients like Philips Healthcare, Verizon, Lahey Clinic and ad agency Mad Pow.

When he's not behind the camera or editing, Shane enjoys making art and traveling and snowboarding with his family.
